ArcGIS 10.1 is Coming

ArcGIS 10.1, the extremely awaited update to ArcGIS, is immediately forthcoming. Esri assures that this current release causes the package more comfortable to practice for even non-GIS masters.  


Numerous of the advances in the new release of ArcGIS bring in it more at ease to make and share content, when others improve a user’s ability to visualise patterns and trends in complicated data. Foregrounds include the following capabilities:
  • Edit out any aspect or component of a map, letting in feature-level metadata.
  • Use new spatial analysis tools, such as spatial autocorrelation, to predict outcomes and explain geographic information better.
  • Discover new instruments that simplify all aspects of working with large collections of imagery and raster data in ArcGIS.
  • See lidar Log ASCII Standard files as point clouds, surfaces, and rasters
