How to Get Catalog Archive Image GeoEye-1 and IKONOS

As we know, to get records from the Digital Globe QuickBird, already available in the Google Earth layer (under More) or via the website at url http://archivetool2.digitalglobe.com.

The five ways is contained in the special tools provided by GeoEye to the user ease of doing Search & Discovery so that users can easily and quickly find the necessary archive while displaying a preview image. Tools in question is GeoFUSE which can be accessed at the url http://geofuse.geoeye.com/ TARGET="_blank".


First is through online tools Maps [http://geofuse.geoeye.com/maps/Map.aspx]. Simply type the name of the city or region that the user wants to know the availability of its archive catalog in the left menu and click FIND. User directed to the appropriate map to search, for then the user can just select the specific point or define an area or entire folder window to obtain images that are available on catalog archive. A second way to get the catalog archive Image GeoEye-1 and IKONOS is to download KML files from Google Earth Tools Integration provided GeoEye. Link download KML file is available at the following URL http://geofuse.geoeye.com/landing/google-earth/Default.aspx. Click on Access Search & Discovery Tools to get the KML file. The result can be seen in the picture below. Click on the green star icon to get detailed information about the image.



The third way to to get the catalog archive Image GeoEye-1 and IKONOS is to download one of the following files:

* ArcGIS Desktop Layer (full scr)
* ArcGIS Explorer file (NMF)
* Compressed ESRI ® Shapefiles (SHP)
* World Coverage Thematic Map Graphic and Report (PDF)

The fourth way to get the catalog archive Image GeoEye-1 and IKONOS is to utilize the Advanced Search Options in the url http://geofuse.geoeye.com/advanced/. Users are given two options, the first is to upload the files to shp format or KML or GML. Both with Geometry Query where users enter their own who want to know the location coordinates ketersediaancatalog his archive.

The fifth way to get the catalog archive Image GeoEye-1 and IKONOS is to use GeoFUSE toolbar for ArcMap. You can get it by downloading the installer its advance through the url http://geofuse.geoeye.com/toolbar/
